CSV Doctor v1.0.0 is a free, browser-based CSV inspector and cleaner. Drag in a CSV file (or paste your data), find common problems, make precise repairs, and export a clean CSV or TSV — all without sending your files anywhere.

Spot problems before they become headaches:

• Detect comma, semicolon, tab, and pipe delimiters

• Identify uneven rows, duplicates, blank records, and empty headers

• Find suspicious quotes, inconsistent line endings, stray spaces, and spreadsheet formula-sensitive cells

• Trim values, drop blank records, remove duplicates, and pad missing trailing columns

• Undo changes in one click

• Export fresh UTF-8 CSV or TSV with correctly escaped fields

• Fully local processing — no account, telemetry, uploads, or external dependencies

Quick start: Click Run tool → Try sample data → inspect the report → choose repairs → download your file.

Privacy: CSV Doctor never uploads, logs, or transmits the contents of your data. Files remain in browser memory. No cookies, tracking scripts or third-party services within the tool.

Notes: Works best with UTF-8 CSV/TSV files up to 2 MiB. The first record is treated as a header. Formula protection is optional because it alters exported cell values. Designed for quick data cleanups; does not read .xlsx spreadsheets.
